100% waterproof
The wear layer and core do not swell with water, so kitchens, baths and laundry rooms are all fair game.
100% waterproof with realistic wood visuals. Click or glue-down, including WPC and SPC constructions — built for real life, kids, pets and Sacramento summers.
LVP is the floor most Sacramento homeowners end up choosing, and for good reason: it looks like wood, it survives spills, and it goes almost anywhere in the house — kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements included.
The difference between an LVP floor that looks great in five years and one that gaps or telegraphs every bump is almost entirely install quality: subfloor prep, acclimation, expansion gaps at every wall, and the right underlayment. We do not skip those steps.
The details that decide whether a floor still looks right in five years.
The wear layer and core do not swell with water, so kitchens, baths and laundry rooms are all fair game.
Rigid stone-core for dent resistance and flatness, or wood-composite core for a softer, warmer step.
Floating installs for speed and future access, glue-down for commercial traffic and large open spans.
Flattening, patching and moisture checks first — LVP is thin and shows whatever is underneath it.
Clean thresholds to tile and carpet, plus baseboard or shoe molding to finish the perimeter.
Scratch- and stain-resistant wear layers that hold up to everyday household traffic.

"Golden Floors did an excellent job installing my vinyl flooring. The team was on time, professional, and finished with high-quality workmanship. The floor looks amazing, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish."
The plank itself is — LVP will not swell or delaminate from standing water the way laminate or hardwood can. Seams and perimeter are still worth wiping up promptly, but spills, pets and mopping are not a problem.
SPC has a rigid stone-polymer core: harder, thinner, more dent-resistant, and better at hiding a slightly uneven subfloor. WPC has a wood-polymer core: a bit softer and warmer underfoot. We recommend based on the room, the traffic and your subfloor.
Sometimes — over well-bonded tile or vinyl, yes; over carpet or a failing floor, no. We check the subfloor at the free estimate and tell you straight.
It is one of the most common choices for rentals and multi-unit work: durable, waterproof, and individual planks can be replaced if one gets damaged.
Tell us about your project and we'll bring the samples to you. No pressure, no obligation — just an honest price and a clear plan.
Product, install method and prep work all change the number, so any price on a website would be a guess. We measure in person and give you the real one — free, and with no obligation to book.
