Solid hardwood
Traditional milled planks that can be sanded and refinished again and again over the life of the floor.
Solid and engineered hardwood that adds warmth, beauty, and real lasting value to any home — measured, prepped and installed by a crew that treats your floor like their own.
Hardwood is the floor people notice. It is also the least forgiving to install: subfloor flatness, moisture content, expansion gaps and transitions all have to be right, or the floor tells on you within a season. That is where 14+ years of hands-on installation matters.
We install both solid and engineered hardwood, and we help you choose between them before anything is ordered. Solid gives you the deepest character and can be refinished repeatedly. Engineered handles Sacramento humidity swings and concrete slabs better, and works in more parts of the house.
The details that decide whether a floor still looks right in five years.
Traditional milled planks that can be sanded and refinished again and again over the life of the floor.
A real wood wear layer over a stable core — better suited to slabs, wider planks, and moisture swings.
We use the install method the product and your subfloor actually call for, not whatever is quickest.
Old flooring removed, subfloor checked for flatness and moisture, and corrected before a plank goes down.
Baseboards, shoe molding, thresholds and stair noses finished cleanly — the details most crews rush.
We handle light furniture, contain the mess, and leave the space usable when we leave.
We come to you, measure the space, discuss your project, and give you a real price. No surprises.

"Daniel from Golden Floors did an outstanding job installing our wood flooring. From start to finish, he was professional, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in his work."
It depends on where the floor is going. Engineered handles concrete slabs, below-grade rooms and humidity swings better, and comes in wider planks. Solid gives you the most refinishing life. We walk through both with samples at your free estimate and recommend based on your actual subfloor and rooms.
No — removal and disposal are part of the job. We handle light furniture as well. We just ask that fragile items, electronics and valuables be cleared beforehand.
A single room usually takes 1 day. A full home averages 2–5 days depending on size, material, and any prep work needed. You get a clear timeline before we start.
Absolutely. We can install material you have already purchased, or we can help source the right product for your project.
Tell us about your project and we'll bring the samples to you. No pressure, no obligation — just an honest price and a clear plan.
Product, install method and prep work all change the number, so any price on a website would be a guess. We measure in person and give you the real one — free, and with no obligation to book.
